The Scope of Electronics and Communication Engineering is very high. Any branch that is integrated with Electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering. There's going to be a huge demand for Electronics & Communication engineers all over the world, as it constitutes a sizeable portion in Engineering.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering aims to provide young people with a high quality education so that they can contribute to the nation progress. Promoting Industry involvement in student projects, placement, joint R&D ventures, organizing collaborative programs with premier institutions are the prime objectives of the department. The department has experienced, dedicated and highly qualified faculty in specialized areas with significant publications in reputed journals. There are well-established laboratories and research facilities with efficient technical supporting staff. The curriculum reflects dynamic changes relevant to today’s marketplace and offers more opportunities for internships and training to the students inculcating both the hard and soft skills needed at the workplace. MoUs with industry and research institutes have been signed for the dissemination of knowledge and use of their research facilities. The Department supports research activities in the broad areas of VLSI & Embedded Systems, Signal and Image Processing, Broadband Communication, Intelligent Systems & Networking.

The students are encouraged to participate in various seminars, workshops & co-curricular activities, organized by the college & department. There is a continuous internal evaluation of students through unit tests, internal assessments and quiz programs. The attendance and progress reports are sent to the parents after every internal assessment tests. Special care is taken for the students whose performance is poor through counseling and extra classes. Every effort is made constantly to progress the results of students. The dedicated teaching faculty of the department emphasize on the practical application of the knowledge by conducting group discussions and technical trips every year.

Placement assistant activities like Skill Development Sessions, Programming skills development, Group Discussions, Professional Resume Writing, Cracking Aptitude, Internship Projects and Technical Quiz to update and help the students for the better Placements.

The Electronics & Communication program dedicates itself to providing students with a set of skills, knowledge and attitudes that will permit its graduates to succeed and thrive as engineers and leaders. We assure that we will continue to deliver our best to serve the society and expect our students to pass on the skills that they have developed during their course of time.
